The Urgency of Blue Economy-Based Sustainable Development Education in Higher Education (Study Blue Economy Education in Probolinggo)

This study aims to explain the urgency of blue economy education at University Probolinggo so that there are special materials related economy, both theory, practice, cooperation programs, and others support implementation economy. research method uses a descriptive with qualitative approach. Informants obtained from literature studies, namely various literatures, journals, books, reports, other references answer discuss topics. Other instruments in use observation, interviews documentation. The data analysis technique this is narrative analysis. results indicate universities as one educational institutions currently faced challenge how prepare resources, equipping students ability analyze, understand, understand aspects -multidimensional sustainable development issues, especially program Probolinggo. Educational reorientation can be considered an effort produce new generations professionals facing transition period towards goals. So it seen important for include elements knowledge, skills, perspectives, values given
